For the Automoblox project we were in groups and we were assigned a specific car to build on the 3-D modeling software called inventor. There were at least three members to a group and we were all responsible for drawing different parts of our car on inventor. For example, I had to draw the front and back ends of the car and the middle connector piece. After I drew the parts, I put them in a drawing file and fully dimensioned them so if we were actually building the cars you could give it to the person and they would know exactly where to cut the pieces of wood. After all group members were done with their parts of the car we took all of the parts and put them in an assembly presentation. My group waited last minute to start the assembly and it cost us because we did't meet the deadline. Later in life when we have jobs, not meeting the deadline could have you fired. I learned a lot from this project because I know how to efficiently get work done and not waste time on the computers. I think it would have helped if we had a game plan written out that we could follow but I think after taking that late hit my group learned these things.
